Psyllium Blond seed coat BIO, 150 g

Psyllium is an annual herb that produces tiny seeds. These are covered with an envelope or integuments which is recovered and valued. Psyllium is very rich in mucilage, a plant substance made up of soluble fibers that swell on contact with liquid. This property promotes intestinal transit and plays on the effect of satiety .

By its nature, psyllium thickens on contact with water. To obtain a creamy and fluid texture, Priméal recommends diluting 1 teaspoon of psyllium in 200 ml of liquid, the equivalent of a large glass of water, fruit juice or a bowl of soup.

Priméal also recommends distributing the catches well over the day (2 to 3 times a day). In the case of greater transit difficulties or as part of a diet, it is possible to increase the number of catches during the day.
